1) BY IPDO2013 BUS
A bus is planed for the conference, at the airport on Tuesday 25 th june at 19:00 PM ; it will wait and leave « level 0/Arrivals in front of Hall B/ Hall C in the same Area than TISSEO and Shuttle Airport buses ; The Bus/Coach will have a special Board/Panel indicating IPDO 2013. Note that this Coach is free of charge. Arriving to Albi the bus will stop in the downtown of Albi : [1] Lices Pompidou and [2] Hôtel Mercure (cf. accomodation map). Albi is a small city and the hotels are quite close to the first stop.

REACHING THE CONFERENCE :

The Symposium will be held at Ecole des Mines d'Albi (EMAC) in Albi (see Map).
The distance from the city center and Ecole des Mines is is a little less 3 km. The walking time is about 45 minutes along ‘Avenue du Colonel Teyssier' to reach the campus of Ecole des Mines. A daily bus is planned to pick you up from Albi downtown to IPDO conference (2 bus stop : Lices Pompidou and Hôtel Mercure) on Wednesday at 8:15 am, on Thursday and on Friday at 8:00. The details for the other buses will be given to you during the registration.

IPDO-2013 will be held in the Ecole des Mines d’Albi. Albi is located 70 km from Toulouse, France, which can be reached by direct flights from most of the larger cities in Europe, followed by the one hour trip to Albi via a direct highway. Transportation by bus and/or a shuttle will be planed to pick up the participants at Toulouse airport. Albi is a very nice old medieval town whose Episcopal City belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List having a deep historical background with the Albigensian Crusade against the Cathar heretics (13th century), and a famous museum dedicated to the painter “Toulouse-Lautrec” who was born in the city.
